Government Regulation-the laws and rules that the government, specifically the United States, makes for businesses, states, individuals, advocacy groups, and the country as a whole to follow and adhere to on a daily basis

Adoption- is the legal process by which a person becomes a lawful member of a family different from their birth family. Once a final order of adoption has been ruled by a court of law, the adoptive parents gain the same rights and responsibilities as parents whose children are born to them; subsequently, an adopted child gains the same rights as birth children in regard to inheritance, child support, and other legal matters. In most U.S. jurisdictions, at the time the adoption is finalized, the adopted child’s name is legally changed, and the court orders the issuance of a new, amended birth certificate.

Endangered Species– Plant or animal species existing in such small numbers that they are in danger of becoming extinct, especially as a result of human activity. Other factors can include changes in climate, changes in predator-prey ratios, destruction or pollution of a species’ native habitat, over hunting or poaching, intentional extermination, and the accidental or intentional introduction of alien species. These species are usually officially designated as endangered by a governmental agency.

Minimum Wage – The lowest wage an employer can pay an employee

Living Wage – Wage set at cost of living standards. (These standards vary from state to state and city to city)
